We are seeking a Retail Pop-Up Store Event Manager to join our team and help us expand our physical retail presence. In this role, you will lead and oversee the setup, teardown and comprehensive management of our pop-up store events through Southern California, with occasional travel outside the region for large scale activations. This role will require travel 100% of the time, offering a unique opportunity to shape the retail landscape through engaging customer experiences. 


1) Event Setup & Teardown:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the complete setup and teardown of jewelry pop-up store events, ensuring the displays are visually striking, operationally efficient, and adhere to the highest brand standards.
  • Strategically arrange jewelry displays to optimize customer engagement, enhance the brand aesthetic, and maximize sales.

2) Team Management:

  • Source, hire, and lead a team of temporary shift workers, providing training and guidance to ensure smooth, efficient pop-up operations.

Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and high retail performance, ensuring staff adheres to company policies and meets performance goals.

3) Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Identify, research, and apply for suitable event opportunities, meticulously completing all necessary paperwork to secure successful applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine a comprehensive event schedule for the year, staying attuned to market trends, demographic insights, and strategic opportunities.

4) Customer Service & Retail Experience:

  • Leverage retail expertise to provide unparalleled customer service, swiftly addressing inquiries and resolving concerns to uphold the brand’s reputation.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and engaging environment that aligns with Wimsico's values and nurtures lasting customer relationships.

5) Performance Analysis & Feedback:

  • Analyze event performance, generating detailed reports that identify key trends, customer preferences, and jewelry inventory performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide actionable feedback that improves the customer experience and informs future product and sales strategies.


  • Proven retail experience, preferably in a managerial role within a pop-up or event-driven environment.
  • Strong customer service skills focused on developing long-term customer relationships and enhancing brand loyalty.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time, primarily within Southern California but occasionally out-of-state.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills for managing logistics and scheduling.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance reporting, data analysis, and trend identification.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with conventions, fairs, and university event operations.

Experience in hiring, training, and managing temporary staff for events.
